Hey! My name's Cassie:) I'm a 28 year old mom from Ontario, Canada. In the 2024 New Year my resolution was to read more books. And I am happy to say that for once, I followed through with at least one resolution.

 

My first read was "Where the Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens, after that a few thrillers and some murder mysterys. And then, like a lot of fantasy lovers, I discovered ACOTAR by Sarah J. Maas. This changed the game. No more Riley Sager and Freida Mcfadden, give me Fae, dragon riders, epic adventure and magic, magic, MAGIC!

During the day, I'm chasing after my toddler, figuring out this whole blog and social media journey and helping operate my husbands business. At night, you'll find me in my favorite chair, under a blanket, my nose in a book and my mind somewhere else... Prythian, Erilea, Elfhame, or..hell, maybe even Mars.

Re-discovering Fantasy as an adult has truly been an amazing experience. I've always been a lover of Fantasy and Si-Fi... Harry Potter, Twilight and The Hunger Games were the staples. But now, with social media, there is such an incredible community of book lovers, eager to find that next read that is going to have them screaming, crying, kicking their feet with glee and staring into that invisible camera.

 

And more than anything, I want to help my fellow readers and fantasy fanatics find that next incredible story that is going to hold a special place in their heart.
